Privacy
What this site collects.
One form, and nothing else. There is no analytics here, no tracking, no advertising and no account to create. If you don’t write to us, you leave nothing behind.
The contact form
It asks for your name, a work email, your company, a topic, an optional description of the system or the problem, and where you are in it. The email address is what we reply to. Everything else is what lets us route the message to the engineer who can actually answer it.
We use it to reply, and for nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list, not sold, and not passed to anyone beyond the companies named below. The form also carries a hidden field naming the page you sent from, and one empty field that only an automated script would ever fill in.
Who else handles it
Three companies sit in the path, and each sees a different part of it.
- 01 Web3Forms — Receives what you send and mails it to us. They keep a log of submissions for 30 days on the plan this site uses. After that it expires on their side.
- 02 hCaptcha — Runs the bot check the form will not submit without. It runs inside a frame of hCaptcha’s own, so what it sees and what it stores are theirs rather than ours. It is there to keep automated submissions out of a form that is otherwise open to anyone.
- 03 Cloudflare — Serves this site. Every request for every page reaches them first, including the network address it came from.
Each of them publishes its own privacy policy on its own site.
Cookies
This site sets none — no cookies, no local storage, no session storage, on any page including the contact page. The one thing we can’t speak for is the inside of hCaptcha’s frame on that page: whatever it keeps is theirs, and their policy is where it is described.
Keeping it, and getting rid of it
What you send lives in an inbox we read, and in Web3Forms’ 30-day log. If you want it removed, ask through the same contact form and we will delete our copy; the log expires on its own.
